Our Physician Assistants:

Nathan Whitley, P.A.
Nathan is a board certified Physician Assistant who is also a native of Fredericksburg. He returned to serve his hometown community after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Masters in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants from Cornell University. He now treats neurosurgical patients throughout their preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative period while facilitating non-surgical care for patients not ready for surgery.

Dan'yelle Owen, P.A.
Dan'yelle is a board certified Physician's Assistant with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from George Mason University and a Masters in PA studies from Philadelphia University.  Dan'yelle sees patients with spine pain who are not ready for surgery.  She helps facilitate their non-surgical management in an effort to make them feel better without surgery.  Dan'yelle peforms preoperative physicals and sees routine postoperative patients.  She also assists Dr. Poffenbarger in surgery.

Our Nurse:

Liza Mullins, RN, BSN, CNOR, RNFA
Lisa provides patient education within the clinic and returns phone calls from both patients and insurance sompanies.  She is also in charge of patient prescription refill requests.  She has over 20 years of nursing experience in various hospital units including 15 years of work in the Operating Room.

Our Office Staff:

Kellie Flynn-Martino, Office Manager
Kellie manages the daily activities of the office and ensures that the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

Hannah Lasco-Kauhi, Receptionist
Hannah answers the phone, schedules new patients and arranges additional appointments for patients.

Rebecca Sherwood, Office Coordinator
Rebecca answers the phone, schedules new patients and arranges additional appointments for patients.
