| Tracy Bilski M.D., FACS Dr. Bilski joined the RTACS practice in April, 2009. After Surgical residency, she was a General Surgeon in the US Navy and was especially tasked with the Expeditionary US Marines. Dr. Bilski then completed fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma and then was deployed with the US Marines to Afghanistan and to Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom respectively. Fellow, American College of Surgeons Donald Kauder, M.D., FACS
Dr. Kauder did his undergraduate, medical school and residency at UVA and EVMS respectively here in Virginia. He was Professor of Surgery at University of Pennsylvania for 18 years and was Vice-Chair of the Division of Trauma. He is highly experienced in all aspects of Acute Care Surgery. Certifications:

Fellow, American College of Surgeons Tedla Tessema M.D., FACS Dr. Tessema, originally from Ethiopia, started medical education in Cuba, then moved to Washington DC and finally to Miami Florida for completion of Surgical training and specialized training in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care. He has enjoyed a rich and vast international surgical experience and speaks multiple languages. He is a tremendous asset to the RTACS group, with experience, compassion and tremendous clinical skills. He arrived at Mary Washington Hospital in August, 2008.

Fellow, American College of Surgeons Lawrence Roberts M.D., FACS, DMCC
Dr. Roberts trained in the U.S. Navy and has had over 25 years’ experience in the field of General Surgery. He has specialized training in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma. He was the Trauma Director in the Navy and at an academic center for 8 years’ total, then came to Mary Washington in September 2007 and contributed to establishing the Trauma Center. Dr. Roberts is currently the Director of Trauma at Mary Washington Hospital and cares of all emergency general surgery patients, surgical ICU patients and trauma as well. Fellow, American College of Surgeons Dennis Wang M.D., FACS
Dr. Wang has over 20 years’ experience in General Surgery, and has received specialized training in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care. He has directed Trauma services and Surgical ICU services elsewhere before joining the RTACS practice in August, 2008. Currently he is the Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Mary Washington Hospital and is full-time involved in the management of all trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical ICU patients.
